At BarCamp Boston I spent some time talking with Rebecca Xiong, co-founder of the social-networking site HeyLetsGo.com.

Calling itself “more real, local, and grown-up than MySpace,” HeyLetsGo targets 25- to 35-year-olds who are looking to build face-to-face connections around events in the Boston area.

Like so many of the participants at BarCamp, Rebecca was enthusiastic, gracious, and a believer in the power of new-media tools.
