If you’re wondering how to connect in person with a group of podcasters/vloggers/new media types, chance are there’s a “PodCamp” coming soon to a location near you. Part of the “unconference” style of live events, PodCamp started in Boston last September and has now proliferated into multiple events across the country, around the world, and even online in virtual communities.

Rather than feature a “top down” feel, where keynote speakers talk at paying attendees, PodCamp allows you to register yourself and a session you’d like to speak on — if you come, you can present.
