In my college days — you know, way back in the 1990s — my friends and I would say “peep this” when playing some new music for each other … in other words: “Check this out.”

So, here’s the song “You Said” from the Podsafe Music Network that I heard on Episode 210 of For Immediate Release last week.

This indie/pop band, Sonny Combs and Kitty Kat Rodeo, made a personal appeal to FIR co-hosts Shel Holtz and Neville Hobson to play one of its songs, which I thought was an interesting approach to finding new listeners.

Since I seldom feature music in my own New Comm Road podcast, I thought I’d include the song here.

I’m certainly no music expert, but I am digging the saxaphone in this song. Peep it yourself and see what you think.
