<description>Hi Bryan.. it was great to meet you at PAB and I'm now a NewCommRoad traveler.

I agree with you that being in the Echo Chamber is an important issue and have found many times that podcasters seem to forget that podcasting is still a strange and unknown communication medium. In fact, I've discovered that nearly 95% of the business audience for my Webinar Wisdom podcast never heard of a podcast before they received an email from me inviting them to listen. To those that showed interest, I needed to explain what a podcast was and how to tune in. Terms like subscription, RSS, blog and even iTunes needed to be defined. Yes, the word iPod was recognized but only as a method of music download and certainly not as a device to gather business information and commentary.

In some ways, it's great that we're explorers of a new frontier but we must not hesitate to evangelize our podcasting journey. There is still a huge potential audience to reach and I thank you for your efforts to help us focus on how to look beyond the Echo Chamber.

cheers... dave</description>
